Modern Plumbing.... Who needs it?

As Operation Clean Up continued, we were working in very primitive circumstances – no plumbing, no hot water, no place to eat or sleep…  Obviously, being able to clean off the day’s work was a priority so we filled up the zinc tub with water first thing in the morning.  By the time the hot August sun warmed it during the day, it was perfect to get all the dirt off.  Although we would take turns being first in the clean water, we were so tired and dirty at the end of the day that dirty used water didn’t seem so bad.
