On this Memorial Day, we remember the sacrifices made by so many for our freedom and way of life. But I also wanted to take a moment to honor our very own family heroes, those who have served and are no longer with us and those who are currently serving, all of whom we are so very proud.

Mixed Greens

We have already had a bumper crop of Baby Mesclun lettuce this Spring... we are eating it every night while it is tender and before the heat of summer arrives!!

Nesting

I always find numerous nests in our bushes and trees around Lowfields. This year I actually found 3 different ones at different parts of their "nesting"... A true sign of spring with new life and new beginnings!

Blue & White - A Classic Combination

I have always loved the classic combination of blue & white. So much in fact that my bedroom pays homage to the color duo! And over the years, I have collected lots of items that are blue & white and I use them throughout the house. There always seems to be room in my designing eye to add something blue & white. It just goes with everything and always looks so crisp & clean. Here are a few glimpses of the dynamic duo in action throughout Lowfields.
