Our Story

How did a doctor and a designer from Raleigh, NC, end up on a farm outside of Charlottesville, VA? We fell in love. Not just with a piece of property but with everything owning and operating a farm has to offer, including the good, the bad and the ugly.

This is our story of the crazy journey to become farmers from scratch - designing, building and running a Black Aberdeen Angus Cattle farm.

It's a story of farm life, food and most of all, family.
